The pond was about 10 inches down yesterday but after last nights rains its FULL and over flowing. There are overflow drains in the nw corner. :DThe bad news is swmbo lost to drowning 175 ducklings about 4 weeks old. :(She had built an enclosure up under the house which is concrete but this area is now under 12 inches of water.;) I had told her don't do it there as every year that sections gets flooded. So much for what I know.

You got that right.

GL, do four-week old ducklings have feathers...did they swim prior to the flooding ?
Or were they simply trapped in their coops?

[No worries as I'm not reporting to the Farm and Fowl Protection Services (surely none exist locally anyhow) , I was just wondering why they couldn't stay afloat under shelter from the rain.]

I'm back.. I was talking with the boss and yes there was flooding half between KC and the CC market, she saw it on the Thai news this morning. The only local flooding I am aware of is just east of the Bangkok Bank which floods if you take a piss and the side road on the west side of us which can be normal for this time of year. Took a drive this afternoon over to Lamduam and saw NO flooding. As usual Thai media making a mountain out of a mole hill.

My pond also full , water overflowing through the overflow system , we added stones to stop land erosion .
