I agree with all you say....expense, drive to Prasat, and the wife teaching. My wife also speaks English pretty well, but her ability to teach me (or my ability to learn from her) is very difficult. I will figure something out, as I am going to be here for the rest of my life so I should probably learn to speak and understand.
I honestly think I'm just lazy, so I need to get over that. I rely on my wife too much, and will strive to change that.

Hi Mario.
I never spoke to Atita, it was my wife who phoned her re the price. I thought it was a little expensive for Surin and for her to travel to Prasat it would be more so. I am still thinking about as it would make things easier to be able to speak and understand the language. My wife who speaks very good english said she will teach me but with her work [ school teacher ] she is very busy. It is a bit like teaching your wife or husband to drive. Not always a good idea.
