Recd 33.42 per USD TT-rate at Siam Comm Bank approx 11:30 today.

Strange as XE showed 33.59 rate as the high for the last 24 hours...go figure.

Each bank appears to have its own TT rate. Check on SCB's website. XE, as far as I know, is global. Banks, particularly Thai banks, can charge whatever they like.

The difference in individual TT rates is simply profit pricing. I think Nick said SCB always better.

UK banks (generally) charge more than Thai banks.....................although Thaij banks are learning fast.

Banking is relatively inexpensive if you understand what is happening and play the game accordingly.
