Cabin on the lake. Drought update.

Today the wife uncle next to us started pumping water from his pond into his rice paddies. All rice is stunted for lack of rain. The wife told me that after her dad returns from his FREE senior trip to Rayong, she will be using the water from her project for her rice.

Pops getting ready for tonights trip. Just to the left of Pops is the canal. It is unbelievable what he has done with that area. Its about 150m long by upto 20m wide in spots. All brush and garbage have been removed and 1 new diversion dam built and another rebuilt. Remember the water table is about 3m down.
There is already water backing up behind theses dams all from the water table. This project of the canal will be another source to be shared with the swine flu project. I shall get some photos.

I think somebody has been stealing our water from our little pond. All the paddies around it are dried out and brown except one plot that is lush and green.

Pops departed about 8 pm last night for his senior trip to Rayong. He is do to return tomorrow evening.. In the mean time his faithful sidekick Adam 1 is going about looking for him asking Where is my papa.

Actual two nights and the gov. is paying for it.. He received this same kind of trip about 6 years back to Seim Reap payed for and to meet Mr. T.

It's getting serious about us. Just next to us they have laid 2 inch pvc line about 150 meters and are getting water from our neighbors pond. All ponds around us including our new one our dug down past the water table. SWMBO has not used her water YET for rice but it's just amateur of time.

Just o the left of her cabin structor are blue barrels, just in back you see green plants. She has with help panted about 2 rai of melon and pumpkin patch. She is getting water from her new pond.

The BLUE roof is finished. If it does rain the roof will direct the water into the pond.

And the boss is getting ready to send water to her rice.

AND 4000 cat fish for her new pond and another 400 pia nin for the pond at the main house.

That the top of the underground water table the water lilies are in and the pond is about 18 foot deep at that point. BTW SWMBO anniversary gift (pump) is doing its job
