Our landlady is full of surprises.
When we got home, she dropped in to say hello, and asked if everything was ok.
Being so hot, the old air cons were really struggling so, she offered to replace the remaining 2 bedroom air cons and install a new one in the family/ dining room.
@ 0.900 this morning, Mr air con was here and replaced the bedroom air cons and installed the new family/ dining unit, all cool as a cucummber.
Why you may ask, rent rise comming--no chance.
We only signed a new 12 month lease before we went to Surin--pre paid.
Nice old duck, really.:rolleyes::D:D:D;)
 
I never met our landlady. I’m pretty sure that if I had I’d be paying more rent than I do
 
You've brought to mind my "generous" 40 year old landlady in Abergavenny in 1969.
 
Only ever once had a Landlord. That was back in 1975, when I rented a small apartment in Leicester for 6 months which was one of 4 in a newly converted house. I was one of the successful applicants out of over 50. Only after renting did I become aware that it was a male only apartment block.

As was my wont, this rule needed to be ignored, and duly was;);) Happy days!
