    I'm considering future plans.
We have built a house in the village for my wifes mother and for us to stay when we visit.
It is south of Prasat almost to Chong chom in the village Ban Naeng Mut.

My son is 4 years only and next year will go to primary school in Australia. Though he is well advances and could probably go now. So I was thinking that it would be worth spending a year in Thailand to help firm up his Thai language skills.

Which brings me to my question... can anyone recommend international schools in the area?

If it is only for a year he could go to a Thai school and there is one just a few kms from the house.
We have already started him on the Australian Kindergarten curriculum. Anyone have some advice on that?

There are no International schools in the province of Surin and, to the best of my knowledge, in the provinces of Buriram or Si-Sa-Ket.

Please tell us more about yourself in the Introduction Section so that we may be better able to assist you.

Seems to be a nice forest in Ban Naeng Mut and a school.

Is there a stream meandering through the woods with a little rickety rackety bridge crossing the stream?

    Thanks for the info nomad.

There is not much in that area other than rice fields, buffalos and chickens.

I have given you further info about schools on the Introduction thread. I have schooled both my daughters through the Thai education system in Surin city. They are now 9 and 13 and doing very well. My apologies if I thought you may have been lurking. :D:D:D
