LED Bulbs

The other day in Thaiwatsadu I spotted this Emergency Light. Has some pretty good specifications and throws out decent light. It has three modes.
One small draw back the ac charge plug is its length only 50cm.

I am fortunate that the majority of my 220 V outlets are only 200mm above floor level so the lead is adequate. In the kitchen there are 6 outlets 400mm above the worktops so that's OK also.

I had an LED light fail 2 days ago. It initially emulated The Bobby Vee song "The Night has a Thousand Eyes" but then died completely. It was no more than 6 weeks old. However, I, nor anyone I know, keeps receipts for light bulbs.

On the plus side, it was very easy to replace, even for me.

The duff light was a Lekise. The replacement was a Vela. Both bought from Homepro, Surin.

The light bulb tester in Big 'C' has now been captained for at least a week. It's a length of twin with a plug at one end and a socket at the other. It's not rocket science!

[Edit: Apparently Lotus's tester is also buggered. The light bulb tester repair man must be on holiday?]
