Major road work at CRU.

On the west side of CRU is a dirt soi about .6th of a km long that intersex with the main soi on the north side. This dirt soi has always been like the redheaded step child. I have seen major wash out at least 5 times at the intersextion. For the past 3 days landowners have been out cutting back the foliage overhang and earth graders have been going up and down it and packers are being used. I have counted 8 14 wheel dump trucks with 1 inch aggregate being used. BTW that aggregate is from an area about half way between Prasat and Surin just to the west of the 214, this is a major industry for that area. This afternoon late the brought in a back hoe and 9 culverts and cut a trench across the soi by the intersextion for water drainage. This is an ongoing project.

Obviously you are not in the correct circle and neighborhood. This soi is the main entrance into CRU which btw is a government funded and backed project. With the DLD personal, Uni personal, VIP and tour groups visiting I expect more to come out of this. MRU As I post there were 2 26 wheel tandem aggregate trucks delivering their load. There are graders and rollers on site. I was able to drive the complete .6 of a km early this morning and they have put in another culvert at the south end like ours.
