Morgan 99 Soi Cola

Morgan99 has a nice wine selection and some good live music on the weekends and Thur/Fri nights too. A smaller more intimate place with a nice pool table where many farang go after they meet up at AA Fantasy with friends. Check it out.

We went there on Monday evening with Australian friends from Saraburi and Roi-Et together with their wives. Two of us chose fish and chips and were rewarded with a plateful (4 pieces of fish per plate!) while others chose chicken salad and chicken cordon bleu. The star of the show however was one of the Thai wives who opted for a fillet steak. She asked for it to be medium rare, and it arrived perfectly cooled. It was so large that she couldn't manage it all, so it was shared with we three guys, and it was definitely the most delicious steak that I have eaten in Thailand!

Friendly staff, and excellent value for money.

We will all be back there asap.
 
Went there with my biker mate from Bauchet upon my last night away in Surin. Very nice & friendly place including those playing on the pool table. Live music was very good too.
