Last night was a terrific night. We arrived at Ryan's early and shortly thereafter, the Charity Rider's arrived. The rider's were greeted with fire-works exploding, which made for a quite an exciting entrance. Following that there were Peter "Spoons" and Lou providing music while lovely table-dancers entertained the 50 or so guests. A wonderful buffet was served (compliments of Gary and Ryan's resort.) Next, in the spirit of the Charity aspect of the fun, an auction was conducted and thousands of Baht was accrued, which will all go to the "Tree of Life" orphanage directly in support of the orphaned children.
As a side note, my good friends Jason and Dave the Dude showed me photos from the orphanage, which was the primary stop for the riders. The lads used their motoriized steeds and took every single kid on an ride. Looking at the smiles on these little children's faces as they rode on the backs of the giant Harley's, Honda's and Triumph's, indeed, brought moisture to many eyes of the grizzled riders and attendees.
It couldn't have been a better evening and it all will help those kids.
Thanks, Ron, DtD, Wild Oates, Mike, Ivan, Gary, Ray, Ludo, and all the other supporters and sponsors for a wonderful event! Am proud to be one of you!

Adding more photos not sure how I can add in one go as only seems to let me upload 10 at a time but will keep adding as soon as I receive from other sponsors.

That photo of me with a girl in a state of undress might hurt my already tarnished reputation! Oops5

We would have questions if we not see a picture like this........so don't worry

I got a little bit drunk after the bike run, Benny. Hope I didn't offend anyone!

NOTE TO SELF: Jamisons Irish whiskey,Leo and red wine dont mix!

We had a wonderful time Saturday. It was nice to meet the many good gents along for the ride to raise money for the Tree of Life Orphanage. Gary of Ryan's Resort pulled out all the stops and arranged a fantastic party and time for all attending. A big thanks to Gary and Ryan's Resort. I had a great afternoon and evening with friends and acquaintances. Very nice people and a lot of fun it was. Thanks to all involved.

Mike

Damn good idea from Frugal Turtle about setting up a Paypal account for those at home to make donations even if they cannot attend the run or party. (Next year for sure)
Much as I hate to admit it Dave's had a great thought as well about the children's T-shirts. (I'm all for having that done this year)
Both are no brainers for next run.

NOTE TO SELF: Jamisons Irish whiskey, Leo and Ron don't mix.

Agreed. I have contacted our supplier in Pattaya for a VERY limited edition run of Kids size Bucaneer run T-Shirts(Dog size for Gary at Ryans). Initially they will be produced to give to the kids we did all this work, for but additional sizes will be ordered also.

THEY WILL NOT BE BLACK SHIRTS FIR THE KIDS. I will be meeting with the guy in the next week and I already have all the ages for the orphans and chose colours available at the shop and they will be produced as if by magic straight away (I am sounding like Mister Benn! LOL!).

A few guys asked me about availability before so If you would like to add a shirt or 3 to my order, I will be happy to get them for you and maybe use Starbeams or Ryans as a collection point. As the shirts are a lot smaller, a further template had to be produced for the printing and a cost of 200b a shirt will cover what we will be charged.

COME ON GUYS DIG DEEP INTO YOUR POCKETS FOR THE KIDS (AGAIN)!
