Deport the wh*re.

Deport the wh*re.
Hang on. She was trying to deport herself ?
Anyway, committing theft at night,? Is theft during the day a different charge.?
All Thais know it is always this person anyway.

She looks nothing like him.
Bye the way. I wonder what she looks like in her cat burgling costume.
Why was she brought to Surin police station?
Why do I have so many questions today? I am going to take a pill and go to bed now.

Theft at night, theft during a flood or calamity, theft when disguised, theft from an employer, or theft with three or more participants are all more severely punished than a regular theft. Theft of a religious artifact is punished more severely than theft at night.

Many American jurisdictions also make a distinction between theft and theft at night.
In Texas one is allowed to use deadly force to prevent the other's imminent commission of arson, burglary, robbery, aggravated robbery, theft during the nighttime, or criminal mischief during the night time.

Interesting stuff @georgefromcanada I had no idea that Thailand had so many distinctions in this regard. Made me sit up at the part.
  1. Upon a thing belonging to an agriculturist, which is a product, plant, animal or implement possessed for the purpose of carrying on agricultural pursuit or acquired from such agricultural pursuit,
Shall be punished with imprisonment of one to five years and fined of two thousand to ten thousand Baht.

The guys who took my pump were risking up to 5 years in jail. 1 year minimum.

The guy that stole my neighbour's frogs took a big risk too.

I have a friend who at one time owned the master franchise for 7/11 in Ireland. He was on his way to meet business partners in Japan and stopped in BKK and met with the 7/11 franchise people here. He told me he was floored by the loss statistics, they were miniscule compared to Ireland. He retired to Thailand and has been here over 20 years.

Thailand has a fraction the theft rate our rich developed countries do.

I saw bus stations, train stations, airports all will get you more punishment, I'd have no problem hospitals be added to the list. I like the idea that if you are going to steal from me, you are encouraged to do it in daylight, unmasked, alone and not when I set my bag down after 22 hrs of flights to take a pee.
