Good news bad news. Bad news first, SWMBO just informed me that the Surin Livestock Breeding and Research Center had just contacted her to say they THEY had lost all their Road Island Red breeding stock to some kind of virus.
The GOOD news. There are only 3 other farms that have chickens from the same family that SLBRC has and they just happen to be in KC and yes swmbo is one of them the other two are her partners. SLBRC will be here Tuesday to buy all 3 farms chickens.SWMBO has just has over 100 KFC and at 190 baht each she will get over 19K. The other good thing is she has another 50 RR chicks in her nursery that she planes on keeping to help restock and she has another 150 eggs in the incubator. Oh the SLBRC say that the 3 girls also will get first take for free of their new chickens. The bad news for me ....back buying eggs on the market.
