Them were the good old days. 23d Jan 1998, at 90.8 GBP , USD hit 61.72. I was on a round the world flight going back to the sand box and left the best for last. Those rates I saw in LAX by the time I flew to Japan then Don Muang grabbed taxi to NEP and checked into my hotel then hit the exchange booth. Both the GBP and the USD had dropped the USD was down to 54 BUT short time was still 200 baht.
