Whats going on in that field.

What are you doing? Landscaping or pre build preparations?

Second choice Nomad, I want to build another, bigger mancave but the drop off between my neighbour and us was too close to the old house thus depriving me of available land to build on. The choice was to build a very high and strong retaining wall or drop a lot of dirt on to my neighbours block and simply put a basic fence on top of the soil if need be after building the new cave. My neighbour said he would not contribute to the wall so I did it this way, he also gets a small section of his land filled.

Had SWMBO with me this morning for a tour.:D:D The LAKE will be at least 50 meter square and 10 meters deep. The 50 could increase. This project will take all next week and possibly the following. Government Vip's along with DLD and Agriculture have been on the site.:cool: SWMBO tells me the canal is going to be cleaned out and a pipeline with open and closer gates installed from the canal to the LAKE. This canal gets serious water from the runoff of natural drainage and the local reservoirs.

This is the canal and the only shade. To the left is another project that has gone in with SWMBO for power which PEA has approved at agriculture rates.

You do know that is more expensive. It is the same as my rate. 6.4 Baht per kW/h.
Flat rate.

Caption time ....................what's wrong with this photo?

e.g. "Who stole my cold beer?"

or, "Very funny leaving me here, now give me my battery back".

Not what she has in writing from PAE.:p:rolleyes: She is not getting 3 phase my dear man and that's where you got porked. You're paying for 3 phase and domestic is about 3.63 baht kw/h. Agi is about 2.8 for the farmer.

Over two thousand truck loads and approximately another two thousand to go. 7 trucks on site today making the 350 baht per load delivery. SWHMBO had another 150 loads placed on her center piece.

Still at it. Pulled the backhoe out to the intersection for more culvert upgrade. SWMBO owns three of the corners. The photo of the back hoe is in one of them and the photo of Napier grass cutting on the main CRU site. This intersextion is in a direct line only 6 km from the Cambodian border. To the crossing it is 16 km, you can guess which rout we like. This intersextion in the 2011 Cambodian border conflict saw BM 21 rockets go over and land in the fields.

The crew has done a clean up at the site and have pulled out as they have a major contract out on the 214 highway upgrade. They were onsite for 8 days and about 3000 truck loads of fill were moved. They will return as the job is only two thirds complete with about another 1500 loads to go. The site looks fantastic and our friends Thai/Chines have taken major steps on their new home site adjacent to the our site, they took 350 loads of fill as they prepare for the building of their new home.

Finally made it all the way around the site this morning. Caught up the FL and his trusty supervisor doing some fence repair for the heard will not get out. This area is about 6 rai with 2 of those for the lake.
