4 killed, 13 hurt in Songkran truck crash Prasat.

"Police said all were Surin natives travelling to throw water at other people along roads during the Songkran festival."

I thought I read earlier that trucks carrying water for use by Songkran revellers were no longer allowed . Clearly not enforced either in Prasat or in many places today in Buriram province.
 
In my albeit minimal experience I was unaware that there was sufficient space to "speed" during the "festivities". This is my recollection from a few years ago:
