Closing a bank account (Bangkok Bank)

I closed two accounts at the same time, I had the ATM card for one of the accounts and retrieved the full balance. The ATM card for the other account was "lost" so that was why they withheld the Bht 500.00.
 
Rather than mess about - in branch- when I have done with a bank I withdraw/transfer all but 100 baht. Once the ATM renewal comes round, there is not enough on the account, and the account automatically closes
 
Accepted Nick, but without an ATM card or internet banking it is not feasible. I.e. you would need to conduct the transaction in the bank in person - which I obviously did.
