I read a few immigration websites and one specifically said if you have a Thai wife you need the 400k or 40k monthly income. It made no reference about a (foreign) wife marrying a Thai man and needing the same financial requirements.

Info I have seen has come from NaziVisa. The is for big white cnut married to small dock.

It would be so unusual for that to happen...why even think about it!
Unless half Thai, like my sons, married whities but wouldn't live in Thailand.

One of the long time moderators on Thai Visa is a female married to a Thai bloke.

Another member (TV) said women need no financial (Bank/income) requirements.
