Does anyone know where I might be able to buy one of these in the Surin/Buriram area?

I can safely assume anything with a safety guard like that would be unavailable in Thailand.
On a more serious note. Sorry I have not seen anything like it.
 
It works like this.
we don't want it for harvesting Rice, but to cut grass for cattle fodder.

 
Have you tried printing a page that shows the product, such as Alibaba, then taking it to any of the Surin farm machinery shops?

Good idea Merlin, but I am currently in the UK. I was hoping to get one posted direct to the house from
Someone like Lazada, but they don't do them, and as Rice says Alibaba only sell in bulk.
Guess I will have to wait until I get back and make one myself.

That guards would be thrown away if used by most locals.

Never seen these but looks very easy to make one .
Even take the picture to a steel fabricator shop
