I ordered two last week and I shall be trying one tomorrow. Young Mister Grace also bought two and has already eaten one. The verdict was "very good".

It is apparent that Chef's Kitchen has a variety of other pies for sale. Will more be available through Nookie in the future (I see the Gala Pie already)?

The one thing that I find difficult is hard boiling the egg whilst keeping the yolk in the center. Not only for gala pies but other applications also.

I've heard that commercial producers of gala pies have an advantage that the eggs are separated before creating a sausage of yolks which is poached, before being placed in a sausage of whites, creating a perfectly even egg cylinder.
