I was definitely there. '92 to '94 and a number of visits thereafter up to 2002.

I chopped up my Mastercard into little bits and sent it back to them around 1990. I was disgusted to have been charged for late payment through no fault of my own. The payment was delayed because of a Postman's strike.

Has anyone mentioned TransferWise to you yet? It's the best (and cheapest) I've found for transferring money. Screw the bank transfer stuff, unless you just like to give them money for nothing...
